Breakfast is important for tweens and teens because it wakes you up for school. It is unfortunate but early morning when schools usually start is not the best time for teenagers to learn. Because the teen mind is not ready to learn so early in the morning, breakfast becomes even more important because it helps keep teens awake and thereby increases a teenager's ability to learn. Breakfast is also a meal where fruits can be eaten and processed by the body to give a person needed energy during the morning. Eat a good breakfast, stay awake, and learn in school.
